MONARDA PUNCTATA
A native plant with deep roots in
this land.
Spotted bee balm — also known as horsemint — is a native North American medicinal plant traditionally used by Indigenous peoples for generations. It grows across the Great Plains, the Eastern Woodlands, the Southeastern United States, and into parts of Texas and the Southwest
.
This is not a cultivated crop or a greenhouse product. It grows as it always has — in open fields and meadows, following the rhythm of the seasons. We harvest from wild stands we know and tend with respect.
"The plant is strong. The structure surrounding it should be calm and gentle."
